Field of view (FOV)
Field of view (FOV) is how wide an area a camera lens can see, usually given in degrees.
What it means for you
A wider view covers more of a yard or room, but everything in it appears smaller, so details at a distance are harder to make out. Check the number for the spot where the camera will be mounted.
