Bridge mode
Bridge mode switches off a gateway’s or router’s own routing so it only passes the internet connection on to another router, which then runs your network.
What it means for you
Use it when you add your own router or mesh system behind a provider gateway, so only one device is doing the routing. Xfinity calls it Bridge Mode and AT&T offers IP Passthrough, and the exact steps are in our gateway guide.
