Wi-Fi 7
Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) is the newest Wi-Fi generation, adding wider channels, 6 GHz support and the ability to use more than one band at the same time.
Also called: 802.11be
What it means for you
You need both a Wi-Fi 7 router and Wi-Fi 7 devices to get the full benefit, and your speeds are still limited by your internet plan. Some entry-level Wi-Fi 7 routers leave out the 6 GHz band, so check the specifications rather than the name alone.
