Thread border router
A Thread border router is a device that connects a Thread network to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network, so Thread devices can be reached from your phone and the internet.
What it means for you
You may already own one, because some Apple, Google and Amazon speakers, displays and TV boxes act as border routers. Having more than one in the home can make a Thread network more resilient.
