DNS
DNS (Domain Name System) translates website and service names into the numeric addresses that computers use to find each other.
What it means for you
When DNS is slow or failing, Wi-Fi can look connected but pages will not load. Restarting your router or switching the DNS server in its settings is a common fix, and some smart devices fail to set up when DNS is misconfigured.
