NAS (network-attached storage)
A NAS (network-attached storage) is a small always-on storage device on your home network that holds files and backups and, with the right software, camera recordings.
What it means for you
Some cameras can record to a NAS, and it doubles as home file and photo storage. It takes more setup than a microSD card, and your camera has to support the right protocols.
