These short terms cover the free guides and tools on Everyday Tech Guide and the digital products we sell. They only repeat what each product page already says. If anything here differs from a product’s own page or its checkout page, that page applies.
Guides and free tools
Our guides and free tools are general information, not professional security, electrical or legal advice. They are based on the makers’ own documents and are not independently tested, and AI tools help us research and draft them (see How we pick). Product details change, so check the maker’s current pages before you buy or change a setting. Some links are labeled affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure.
Our digital products
We sell our own digital downloads: the Health Check Pack, the Password Rollout Kit, the Home Tech Inventory & Warranty Tracker and bundles of them. Checkout and delivery are handled by Payhip, and the Tracker is also sold on Etsy. Each is a one-time purchase and an instant digital download for your own household’s use. They are plans and records, not scans or security audits.
Refunds
- Health Check Pack and Password Rollout Kit: if the product doesn’t open or work as described, email us within 14 days of purchase with the email you used at checkout, and we’ll fix it or refund you. Digital downloads can’t be taken back after delivery.
- Tracker and bundles: refunds are handled as stated on each product’s Payhip or Etsy page. If you have a problem, email us and we’ll help.
- The Home Tech Reset video course (pre-order): lessons are released from November 27. If we decide by November 14 not to make the course, we refund every pre-order in full by November 16. If the full course isn’t released by December 31, you can ask for a full refund. There is also a 30-day guarantee: email us within 30 days of purchase (or of November 27 for pre-orders) for a full refund. See the course page.
